Individual quotes and prices are based on multiple factors related to each piece of art.

THE GLASS

Quality:  Naturally tumbled sea glass is special and beautiful. In most instances, fully frosted pieces take two to six decades to form. Additionally, coastlines must boast certain features. While sea glass can be found all over the world, it is not readily accessible at every coastal location. Increased wave activity and pH levels are necessary to produce sea glass.

Color:  Sea glass was once just discarded glass; therefore, it can turn up in a variety of colors and/or patterns.

Frequent colors include white (clear), brown, and Kelly green.

Less frequent colors include amber, lime green, jade, and pale blues.

Uncommon colors include cobalt blue, aqua, and pale greens such as sea foam.

Rare colors include black, shades of gray, pink, purple, red, vibrant aqua and orange/citrus colors.

Added Materials: For the purposes of making sea glass shadow box scenes and jewelry I have chosen to work with materials that I find durable and love to wear.  I work with 925 sterling silver, silver plated wire, leather, and copper.

ART

As someone who appreciates art, my goal is to make beautiful pieces of art. I have come to realize, however, that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  It is my hope that you are inspired by my work and find beauty in what I do.  I strive to make my pieces affordable, and I will work with you on custom pieces.  With sea glass jewelry, designs, and original art, I price based on the materials used and the time spent on designing and executing each piece. Individual quotes are based on conversations with clients. If you are interested in a unique piece of art, please contact me.

Sincerely,

Ashley
